    Set in 5,500 acres of land, Gosford House has been home to the Wemyss family since 1808. Built to entertain guests and host fabulous parties, the doors reopened in 2010 to offer the finest of Scottish hospitality.

    Broomhall House

    Broomhall is a hugely significant building in the history of Scottish architecture and one of Scotland’s grandest houses. It has been a private family home for more than 300 years and continues to be lived in, cherished and cared for by the family of King Robert the Bruce.

    Built over 300 years ago, set in a secluded 2,500 acres of private estate, Broomhall is less than half an hour from Edinburgh’s international airport and an hour from Glasgow, the house lies only ten minutes by road from the Forth bridges.

    From the stately drawing room with its magnificent 18th century French mirrors to the dining room and its splendid fireplace made of the marital bed of James VI, Broomhall House is truly a remarkable place and a wonderful historic venue for small group tours, private tours with privileged access, corporate events, private dining and as an unparalleled film location.

    Thirlestane Castle

    The breath-taking Thirlestane Castle is a magnificent 16th century castle set within the beautiful Lauderdale Estate in the Scottish Borders.

    Historic home of the Duke of Lauderdale, the Castle is one of the oldest and finest in Scotland and still remains home to the Maitland family today.

    They offer luxury accommodation in the castle and on the estate, exclusive use, guided tours and an impressive setting for events including weddings and private dining.

Established in 1912, Dovecot continues its century-long tradition of creating exceptional handwoven tapestries and gun-tufted rugs in collaboration with international artists. All event bookings support the Dovecot Foundation's mission to preserve and promote tapestry weaving in Scotland.

    Neidpath Castle

    Across the centuries, Neidpath has been home to generations of the Fraser, Hay, and Douglas families. And for over 200 years, the estate has been privately owned by the Wemyss family.

    The true beauty of Neidpath is that very little has changed over the years. The rugged stone walls, hidden staircases, and beautiful views from the battlements would all be very familiar to its formers residents. Outside, the ancestral emblems are clear to see in the archways and carvings around the castle. Inside, the burnished wooden floors bear the indents from the spurs of the gentlemen’s boots.
    From conferences and awards dinners to weddings and private dining, Neidpath’s authentic Scottish atmosphere makes it the ideal venue for events of all shapes and sizes. Neidpath is exclusive, beautiful and dramatic - the perfect venue.

    The marquee is striking, spacious and stylish. As the evening draws in, it lights up with colours and fairy lights, creating an enchanting wowfactor.

    Barns Walled Garden, are big on versatility, freedom and stress-free celebrating. Which is why you will always have access to the venue the day before to decorate it personally and to really make it feel like yours! There’s no last-minute rushing around here – just fun!

    Culzean Castle

    This glorious 260ha estate was once the playground of David Kennedy, 10th Earl of Cassillis – a man who was keen to impress with his wealth and status. Opulent to the extreme, the park is planted with conifers and beech, sculpted around miles of sandy coastline dotted with caves, and finished off with a Swan Pond, an ice house, flamboyant formal gardens and fruit-filled glasshouses.

    The castle itself is perched on the Ayrshire cliffs, incorporating everything the earl could wish for in his country home. It was designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century and is filled to the turrets with treasures that tell the stories of the people who lived here.

    Wedderburn Castle, near Duns, Berwickshire, in the Scottish Borders, is an 18th-century country house that is now used as a wedding and events venue.

    The house is a Category A listed building and the grounds are included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland.
